What a Bombshell

I had the such an emotional Thursday ... Our 3 Diamonds sons went to school(college) as usually, while Esteban #3 had an appointment at the  optometrist and my GEM accompanied him. However little did I know that my GEM and our 4 sweet sons had such a bombshell in store for me ...

You see, a few years ago my engagement and our wedding bands were stolen and we never found out who took them. Time went by, unexpected monetary events transpired, but my hubby ALWAYS told me that the day I least expect, he'd propose to me, just like the 1st. time ...

At about 9:00 p.m., my GEM of 25 1/2 years of martial bliss, called our 4 secretive sons into the kitchen, asked me to turn around, close my eyes and when everyone was ready, my husband Carlos R. Advincola, Sr. told me to turn around and when I did, he was on one knee and asked me to marry him again ... I've NEVER cried so much(in a gleeful) way and then our 4 Soldiers of Christ surrounded both of us with hugs, kisses and pictures, too ...

What I'm about to say comes from the depths of my heart and here is goes ... "Thank you Jesus for blessing me with such a loving husband and 4 amazing sons ...  #HaLLeLuJaH,

Dear Couples

A loving reminder for "ALL" the couples that wish to remain together, especially during troublesome  times ...  Instead of losing your mind about issues that can be handled in a peaceful fashion, sink your teeth into this ...

Proverbs 10:11-12 (NLV)
11. The mouth of the one who is right with God is a well of life, but the mouth of the sinful hides trouble.
12. Hate starts fights, but love covers all sins.

Ponder each above Bible verse before you and your spouse get into a needless misunderstanding ... #Food4Thought,

Dismiss, the Petty Rationalization

Marriage isn't interpreted by how many debates a spouse wins, nor by the duration of a husband(man) or wife's(woman) lies ... Marriage is the joining of two hearts till death due they part ... #WeDo,

On the grounds that the bible states this ...

Genesis 2:24 (NKJV) -Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

On that note, when you and your soul-mate have a misunderstanding of some sort(because you will because it's part of marital life), don't go insane and throw your husband/wife's clothing out the window, lock them out of the house and/or burn something that they value, in order to get back at them. Just try to relax, put yourself in their shoes and remember this too ...

Mark 10:9 (NLV) - Let no man divide what God has put together.

Now, go off and delight in this journey both of you call marriage ...

Have You Forgotten?

Get ready for the eye opening, jaw dropping and mind blowing blessings that the Lord has in store for you? That's why the devil has turned people against you for no apparent reason. People that used to joke around with you in a respectful manner, share a kind word or constantly reminded you that in a pinch, they'll come to your aid.

Now, what your experiencing at this moment is nothing compared to what God's about to release over your life ... Or have you forgotten what the bible says when it comes to blessings?

Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV) The blessing of the Lord makes one rich,
And He adds no sorrow with it.

Thus, lift your head up and remember what Jesus Christ has proclaimed over your life ...

A Quick Observation

Marriage is similar to a roller coaster ride. For example, the couple enters together, experiences it's ups and downs, twist and turns and even a few occasional ruff spots around certain corners too ...

A quick observation, the same person that began this joyride with you, held your hand even when you felt a faint and is still the one that chats away your fears, consoles you when your feeling blue and lifts up your spirit like no other person on this planet ... Finally, their always willing to extend their loving hand to you when the ride concludes ...

The moral to this post is that a roller coaster ride is a metaphor for a loving marriage  ...

Thank You Jesus

My GEM is serenading me with his guitar, blowing kisses my way and whispering sweet thoughts into my hears. Lord have mercy, this man is truly a multi tasker when it comes to making my heart beat 90 miles per hour ...

During all this lovely dovely stuff, our 4 joyful sons  are out like a light. WOW, my hubby truly knows how to push my romantic bottom ... Thank you Jesus for blessing me with such a caring man ...

Two Innocent Babies

Conversations between couples can at times spiral roll in distinctive directions ... For the following reasons: one,  the male or female can feel a bit intimated, clam up and put a lid on their emotions even before the discussion starts. Or two, both of  them can eventually mature and grow as a couple, based upon the fact that their sincere with each other, just like two innocent babies  ...

Not to mention, whatever you share with your spouse during a discussion, make it your duty to address him or her with love and respect, this way those minor issues won't turn into major ones ... Why don't you try this on for size?

Proverbs 10:19 (HCSB) - When there are many words, sin is unavoidable, but the one who controls his lips is wise.
