Just Relax!

Ever so often, a man(husband) and woman(his wife) tend to debate about how to eventually handle past issues that as a result evolve into martial disputes, needless arguments and/or pushing each other away ... Maybe, at that moment you feel like it's a sure fire method to all the above madness; however why don't you two take a step back and ponder this? Don't you understand that you didn't meet by accident or chance; but instead that your loving encounter was destined by God?

Furthermore, both of you were joined together for greatness and that's why the devil doesn't waste any time when it comes to meddling in your relationship. You see this is the proper of his destructive mission; but without a doubt the Lord has a heavenly design for both of your life's. That being said, read and study the following bible verse carefully?

John 10:10 (HCSB) - A thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come so that they may have life and have it in abundance.

Thus, instead of focusing your attention solely on your martial bumps, why don't you switch gears and reminisce about when you two fell in love, wed and finally brought forth little bundles of joy(babies) into this world? Now, the moral of this post is to pray so that Jesus Christ can teach you two how to Just Relax!

Together, We Pray!

During our sunny days or toughest storms, together we pray everything away! We join together in order to ask God through bending our knees, holding each others hands and opening our mouths with endless praises for the Lord ... We know and believe in our hearts that in our unity, all our struggles are minor, our tears are less and our laughter is louder.  Oh yes, we're happier because together we pray in this type of way ...

Matthew 6:6 (HCSB) - But when you pray, go into your private room, shut your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

Praying together has been the key to our blissful 25 1/2 years of marriage ...

The Prescription

A bit of advice for all you wife's that feel the need to turn a conversation into an altercation ...

Proverbs 14:1 ~ The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.

Take this into consideration when you chat, discuss or share your opinion about anything with the: man of your dreams, the guy you dated for a period of time, got engaged to, finally said "I Do To" and gave birth to his & yours tokens of love(the babies) ...

Proverbs 15:1 (HCSB) -A gentle answer turns away anger, but a harsh word stirs up wrath.

Haven't you discovered that a kind and respectful tone goes a long way? Furthermore, it leaves a positive and lasting mark in the mind and heart of the person you wish to spend the rest of your life with ...

Rain Drops

We love the rain, especially when it falls on our faces; because its a perpetual reminder of all our most jubilant childhood memories ... The unconventionally ways we used to jump up and down in those messy puddles of water, while at the same time playfully ignoring the stuff our loving parents would say to us all the way home. For example, this was one of their favorite phases, "Don't get your school clothes dirty" ...

Nonetheless, what really stands out in our minds was the first time my GEM & I experienced our first kiss under an unexpected rain storm ... That was and still is Pure Heaven in our eyes and we're also convinced that this is what the Lord had in mind for us too ...

Genesis 2:18 9NLT) - Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.”

We live and love to praise the Lord's name, in the rain ...

Marriage Monday

Husbands and wife's all over the world, we have a little loving  advice and here it is ... Can you find it in your hearts to stop yelling so loud because your keeping the kids in your community up all night? Besides the neighbors who live 4 blocks away from your house can clearly hear how your bashing each other. Another thing, conduct yourselves like mature adults and refrain from rolling your eyes in front of your kids or answering each other in a vulgar tone also ...

Enough is enough, why don't you get back on track and try to focus on the positive stuff that's gone on in your marriage. You know what we mean, when you fell in love, experienced your first kiss, got hitched and gave birth to your wonderful kids? Those are the mile stones that you should look back on and not the endless debates over power, who's turn it is to take out the trash or how much money you earn more than your spouse ...

Before both of you say good night, don't forget to take the time to say I'm sorry about whatever was said in a moment of anger, on the other hand be more courteous when you savor this ...

Ephesians 4:32 (NCV) ~  Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ.

"Definitely for You"

Two titles, one person and a bag full to the rim of non stop responsibilities to tend to; nonetheless we can't forget that some of you were first wife's, married to the man of your dreams before God blessed your wombs; with the fruit of bottom of your love ...

That's right loving wife's, I'm talking from experience, your children will always be your babies, needing you all through their: infantile, toddlers and you'll still witness their adolescent stages; however during all of that time, what's your husband supposed to do? Are you expecting him to bury his head in the ground like an ostrich? On the other hand, have you forgotten that both of you have anniversaries to celebrate, memories to create and a fire in both of your hearts that continues to burn - Till Death due you Part?

Keep this in your heart and mind 24/7 ...
