Use them Prudently!

Styles may come and go; however the lines of communication should always be opened and respectful matter what. Let's discuss the different techniques regarding communication,  Shall we? Here's one aspect of dialogue that can hurt a couple or group ...

Ephesians 4:29 ~ Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.

Please don't compare talking over a person as a sign of communication. In our opinion, it's just a poor case of a lack self control and respect towards their spouse or others. Talking over each other also demonstrates that a power struggle is in the mists ... That being said, ponder this ...

Proverbs 10:19 ~ When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.

Finally, communication is a path towards a blissful relationship ... Thus, consider this ...

Proverbs 15:1 ~ A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.

Eat and Run,

Nowadays it's obvious how society has adapted to the lifestyle we call Eat and Run ... Everything is done like clock work, no time for families to BOND and couples may still be sleeping in the same beds; but they don't seem to communicate with each other like they used to.

That's why if you don't might and have some free time, we'd like to suggest this ... Set aside one night in the week; so that you can enjoy some one on one time with your spouse and kids too ... For the Prince of Peace offers you this ...

Proverbs 15:17 ~ Better to eat vegetables with people you love than to eat the finest meat where there is hate.

Wise vs Foolish

A bit of advice for all those wife's that feel the need to  turn a conversation into an altercation ... Remember the word of the Lord says this ...

Proverbs 14:1 ~ The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.

Now when you discuss something with the man you said "I Do to" and gave birth to yours and his tokens of love(the babies), you should try to address him with respect so that you can receive the same Blessing in return ... Furthermore, it will benefit you and all those around you too; because it will display maturity, love and forgiveness. Besides leaving a positive mark in your spouse's mind and heart. On the flip side if you don't reframe from directing  your attention only on the negative stuff, then your marriage will feel like a battlefield.

Closing Statement

Argue less, put yourself in your spouse's shoes more and do your best to set aside some together Prayer time inorder to blossom as a couple ...

Lasting Memories

Memories are past events that bring about laughter, smiles and happy thoughts when you really need them most ... In so many homes memories are being recorded in a familys minds, hearts and photo albums for generations to see ...

With that in mind, the best memory you can share or leave with a love ones is this ... Think before you say something because a photo can be taken back or torn into small pieces; however the image you leave in a person's mind or heart can only be removed by GOD!

Thus, take this Bible verse to heart when your at a celebration with your siblings or friends; because by being mindful of your actions, then you'll see how wonderful life can be ...

Proverbs 10:7 ~ The memory of the righteous is a blessing,
but the name of the wicked will rot.

What is Love?

LOVE isn't a whim you obtain due to a lack of rest. Nor is it a passing phase that eventually ends up as a basket full of  shameful acts that's been committed by an individual filled with rage. Instead, LOVE is  an emotion that comes from the heart  and  should never leave any painful or negative mark. Nonetheless sometimes it does, followed by a person shrugging  head every time they allow a stranger to enter their bed.

Final Thought

However the best example of real  LOVE comes from above and can be experienced by a person giving Jesus Christ the green light in their life. Then the Lord will instill in you love, knowledge and oh yes, self respect.

For the word of God says this ...

Philippians 1:9 ~ And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment,

Doesn't Determine

It's not the height of the roof over a family's head, nor is it the amount of rooms that really determines a family's joy ...What can and should produce unity between mom, dad, the kids and maybe even the grandparents is this ... That some or all of the members in that home or apartment really loves the other sibling with their hearts instead of only their mouths ... If your having diff icultity in perceiving what is being said, take some time and think about this...

1 John 3:18 ~ My children, let us not love with words or in talk only. Let us love by what we do and in truth.

True BLue

How can you tell if someone really loves you or whether they're just putting on a show to impress everyone in sight? Now we're going to offer you a few helpful tips ...
  1. Bend your knees and start to Pray.
  2. Observe the person's reactions to major events, situations and/or questions.
  3. Ask yourself if what your feeling is love or lust.
After all has been said and done, then give the BIG Matchmaker in the sky free rein so that he can tell you whether or not that relationship is worth your time ...

John 8:32 ~ Then you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

Someone

Someone entered our life's years ago and finally taught us the meaning of what true love was all about ...  OMG, we were missing out on so much ... For instance, having someone to guide, direct, listen to all our mess and birth real love into our life's ... We weren't pressured or tricked into allowing this person in; because it felt like a DREAM come true and do you know what? We were fully awake when all this occurred ...

He didn't care about our past, on account of he knew it wouldn't last ... It was as if we'd won a long and bitter war ... Today we're HONORED to say that this person was, is and will ALWAYS be part of our family; because he made the Ultimate Sacrifice. That's why we own him our life's. Care to know his name? It's JESUS CHRIST ...

This is how we honestly feel whenever we mention his Holy name in the form of a Praise ...

Philippians 2:20 ~ For I have no one like him, who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare.

Pow Wows

This generation of couples doesn't seem to truly grasp the definition of marriage ... We say this because many of them tend to plunge into a relationship, live together, conceive babies out of wedlock, then start wedding preparations before even sitting down and having a Pow Wow with each other ... Now, a Pow Wow is a serious conversation between the couple that's dating and/or planning to take their relationship to another level. Topics that should be discussed during a Pow Wow are God, family and finances. By doing this you'll have an idea about what the other person's intentions are ...

I can recall word for word when my GEM and I had not one; but numerous Pow Wows during our courtship and about what we expected from each other ... They were full of Prayer, tearful debates and honest sharing. Oh yes, during all of our Pow Wows we NEVER disrespected or challenged each others points of views ...

Our motto was and still is this ... Think before  you open your mouth! That's been one of the main ingredients to our blissful, tasty and loving marriage; because it's not all about what your say; but how you say it ...

1 John 3:16 ~ Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

Bringing Down WaLLs

Most of today's couples are undergoing a great deal of unnecessary drama and stress ... For the simple fact that they've allowed a communication gab to grow like mold in their relationship. As you know mold is dangerous and can bring about serious health issues if it's not taken cared of immediately ...

Wrapping this post up, husbands and wife's here's a little advice ... Don't be ashamed or too proud to ask for help so that those painful walls can come down and you two can go back to delighting in your marital life ... In conclusion, if you wish your relationship to progress try a little of this ...

 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
4. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;  it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Why 2 WED?

More and more couples now a days are getting married;  however its not Till Death due they Part. Why is that? Perhaps its due to the following:
  1. Maybe they're not ready to put aside their single ways.
  2. Or could it be that its all about leaving their parent's home and becoming their own boss?
  3. On the other hand, some couples tend to feel that getting married produces: stress, financial baggage and/or cramps their personal style.
Nonetheless, we see marriage as the first institution created by GOD, it also joins a man and woman as one flesh and finally it forms a give and take relationship in a loving kind of way. At least that's what it did for us 23 1/2 BLISSFUL years ago. This is how the BIBLE defines marriage ...

GENESIS 2:24 ~ THEREFORE SHALL A MAN LEAVE HIS FATHER AND HIS MOTHER, AND SHALL CLEAVE UNTO HIS WIFE; AND THEY SHALL BE ONE FLESH.

FINAL THOUGHTIf your not TRULY ready to share your life from head to toe with someone your supposed to LOVE, then wait a little more before you walk down the isle ...

True LoVe

True LoVe is looking into each others eyes without being aware who's walking by. It's also finishing each others sentences in a playful kind of way, while at the same time reminiscing about the day and place you met. I'll never forget when my Dominican Danish and I locked eyes during a Tuesday night PRAYER service.

Can I share something with all of you? Every time I bend my knees and start to PRAY the first thing I say is thank you LORD for giving me a: best friend, soul-mate, loving father and oh yes ...  Someone to grow old with. This BIBLE verse defines our life's.

Matthew 6:33
But seek first the kingdom of GOD and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.
