A Quick Observation

Marriage is similar to a roller coaster ride. For example, the couple enters together, experiences it's ups and downs, twist and turns and even a few occasional ruff spots around certain corners too ...

A quick observation, the same person that began this joyride with you, held your hand even when you felt a faint and is still the one that chats away your fears, consoles you when your feeling blue and lifts up your spirit like no other person on this planet ... Finally, their always willing to extend their loving hand to you when the ride concludes ...

The moral to this post is that a roller coaster ride is a metaphor for a loving marriage  ...

Thank You Jesus

My GEM is serenading me with his guitar, blowing kisses my way and whispering sweet thoughts into my hears. Lord have mercy, this man is truly a multi tasker when it comes to making my heart beat 90 miles per hour ...

During all this lovely dovely stuff, our 4 joyful sons  are out like a light. WOW, my hubby truly knows how to push my romantic bottom ... Thank you Jesus for blessing me with such a caring man ...

Two Innocent Babies

Conversations between couples can at times spiral roll in distinctive directions ... For the following reasons: one,  the male or female can feel a bit intimated, clam up and put a lid on their emotions even before the discussion starts. Or two, both of  them can eventually mature and grow as a couple, based upon the fact that their sincere with each other, just like two innocent babies  ...

Not to mention, whatever you share with your spouse during a discussion, make it your duty to address him or her with love and respect, this way those minor issues won't turn into major ones ... Why don't you try this on for size?

Proverbs 10:19 (HCSB) - When there are many words, sin is unavoidable, but the one who controls his lips is wise.
