True BLue

How can you tell if someone really loves you or whether they're just putting on a show to impress everyone in sight? Now we're going to offer you a few helpful tips ...
  1. Bend your knees and start to Pray.
  2. Observe the person's reactions to major events, situations and/or questions.
  3. Ask yourself if what your feeling is love or lust.
After all has been said and done, then give the BIG Matchmaker in the sky free rein so that he can tell you whether or not that relationship is worth your time ...

John 8:32 ~ Then you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

Someone

Someone entered our life's years ago and finally taught us the meaning of what true love was all about ...  OMG, we were missing out on so much ... For instance, having someone to guide, direct, listen to all our mess and birth real love into our life's ... We weren't pressured or tricked into allowing this person in; because it felt like a DREAM come true and do you know what? We were fully awake when all this occurred ...

He didn't care about our past, on account of he knew it wouldn't last ... It was as if we'd won a long and bitter war ... Today we're HONORED to say that this person was, is and will ALWAYS be part of our family; because he made the Ultimate Sacrifice. That's why we own him our life's. Care to know his name? It's JESUS CHRIST ...

This is how we honestly feel whenever we mention his Holy name in the form of a Praise ...

Philippians 2:20 ~ For I have no one like him, who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare.

Pow Wows

This generation of couples doesn't seem to truly grasp the definition of marriage ... We say this because many of them tend to plunge into a relationship, live together, conceive babies out of wedlock, then start wedding preparations before even sitting down and having a Pow Wow with each other ... Now, a Pow Wow is a serious conversation between the couple that's dating and/or planning to take their relationship to another level. Topics that should be discussed during a Pow Wow are God, family and finances. By doing this you'll have an idea about what the other person's intentions are ...

I can recall word for word when my GEM and I had not one; but numerous Pow Wows during our courtship and about what we expected from each other ... They were full of Prayer, tearful debates and honest sharing. Oh yes, during all of our Pow Wows we NEVER disrespected or challenged each others points of views ...

Our motto was and still is this ... Think before  you open your mouth! That's been one of the main ingredients to our blissful, tasty and loving marriage; because it's not all about what your say; but how you say it ...

1 John 3:16 ~ Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
